Bob Kinney, Musical Director, Guitar and lead vocals for The Briefcase Blues Brothers launched out of high school, from a concert goer, absorbing every influence he could see and as often, to auditioning for his first successful band “Rockola”. At age 17, he was recording with A&M records out of Wally Heiders Studios in San Francisco. And so it begins.
Growing up at a time when the San Francisco music scene was young and alive. Bob was influenced by rock in the late 60’s and Pop, Funk and Rhythm & Blues in the 70″s. It was a mixed palette of creative styles, always pushing the limits.
Whether it is drivin blues or acoustic soundscapes to rock performances, Bob has extensive experience in clubs, concerts, festivals, corporate events…Forever a team player, and always with a smile.
